This shows that thoughts can carry strong powerful emotions that can pull us down into misery. If we can not stop thinking these thoughts, we will constantly feel sad and down, some call this depression. But, there is a way out! We are what we THINK! If thoughts influence how we feel, basically control how we feel at anytime, then... What if we can turn this around and take charge and CONTROL OUR THOUGHTS? And the answer is: WE CAN! By doing that we can take full control over how we feel anytime! That means we can be happy, balanced and productive all the time! Who would not want to be that? When a person spend most of their time awake thinking of events and situations that have an emotional negative charge to them, they get the feeling of constant misery. They soon start thinking of “how miserable they feel”. Adding this thought pattern to the original negative thoughts add a new element of negatively charged emotions in addition to the original ones.  I call this the circle of misery since their thoughts are running in circles or loops between these two, making it very difficult to break the pattern of negative thinking. You will learn that this will become your best indicator that something is very wrong. The good thing is that our body recognizes this and will tell us. How do you ask? Our body does that by sending FEELINGS OF UNHAPPINESS. Some call it bad feelings, sad feelings, feeling down, feeling depressed. They are all FEELINGS that do make us FEEL unhappy! What our body is doing is making us feel bad and ask us to take action and stop what we are doing. It is the same as physical pain, if you do something that physically hurts you, you get a feeling of pain and a chance to locate the cause and stop the pain by taking some sort of action. For example if you accidentally touch something very hot with your hand, you immediately pull your hand away from the source of the heat. Feeling physical pain and metal pain are our body’s way of communicate and alert us that something is not right! It wants us to take ACTION, PROPER ACTION that is! The author and creator SAD THOUGHT Negative emotions We receive a bad feeling from our body To stop this feeling we need to take action Take action, proper action 1 2 3 Here is the problem most people fall into. They feel the unpleasant feelings triggered by a sad thought, but they take the wrong action. They focus on the feeling (2) not the source (1), which is the negative thought. By focusing and trying to control the feeling they are in fact trying to kill the messenger (2). This is one reason medication rarely works in the long run. One may be able to suppress the messenger (feeling) for some time with medication, but it will not solve the reason for the feelings and soon they are back to living with the bad feeling. Their body will not give up easily, it is extremely persistent and want us to take appropriate action, so we can move up into the happy area permanently. It will continue making us feel bad until we do that. This misunderstanding is why so many, millions, can not seem to get out of the unhappy area. They just do not know better. It is sad because their bodies are begging them to take action by sending them waves of unpleasant feelings hoping they get it! I will show you how to listen to your body’s feelings, select the proper action and move up to the happy area and stay there and become happy, balanced and productive for the rest of your life! When the thought is close to 0, it has little or no emotional charge and does not affect us much. The deeper it dips the more negatively charged the thought becomes and will affect us much more, making us feel very unhappy.
