Take charge of your life by controlling your thoughts
About the Author, Thomas Sandberg
The reason I put this information here is that I want you to know that this is all from a person deeply
concerned and interested in improving your life and that is my main reason for sharing my book with you.
Hi my name is Thomas Sandberg. I'm from Norway but live in USA.
First I want to apologize for my imperfect English. I'm still learning and I do not want to have this
written by a professional writer. It's important to me that this comes directly from me. This is who I
am and I have nothing to hide.
Thank you for taking time to visit this page. I'm glad you did because I am convinced I can help you.
That's my main reason for this web site and my book. I want to help you get happy!
I learned this absolutely simple and amazing technique from a stranger back in Norway one
December morning traveling on a train to Oslo. I was on my way to a college class. I was reading a
book by Carl G. Jung a student of Freud.
This friendly stranger sitting next to me noticed what I was reading and started talking to me about
Jung and Freud. He knew a lot about their work. I later found out he was a former professor at
University of Oslo, and now had his own practice.
I told him I was studying for a test and worried I was not going to do well. After a few minutes into
the conversation he asked me if I were interested in learning a method that would prevent me from
ever worry again, and also end any unhappy, sad or depressing feelings almost instantly. I was a
little skeptical and not sure what he was talking about, but he seemed like an educated man so I
said, "Sure go ahead".
He asked me two questions;
"First, do you want to be happy all the time?"
"Yes", I said (thinking who does not want that?).
"Secondly, do you know when you feel unhappy, can you feel it?".
"Yes" I answered, "I know that feeling very well"
"That's all I need to know", he said" .
The next 10 minutes changed my life forever. I suddenly realized why people are unhappy and
depressed and how they could all end it in a few minutes. Stunned and amazed, I immediately
understood how and why this would work .....for me and anyone!
He told me :
Simplified: Feelings are a language our body use to communicate with our unconscious mind and
our conscious mind. We are driven by these feelings, they are messages that help guide us to
make the right decisions so we can live a good life, mentally and physically.
We need to listen to these feeling carefully, especially if a feeling makes us feel bad we need to
correctly act on this feeling by going back to the source and eliminate its ability to make us feel bad.
Based on this I created FLACS:
Feel – Listen (what do you feel) – Act (follow the instruction) – Correctly (make sure the
instructions are correct) – on the Source (go to the source of the bad feeling).
The important part to notice is that feelings are just what they say they are...feelings. They are not
a condition, it may feels like it, but they are not.
So where does the feeling come from? Good question.
Our body is equipped with thousands of sensors located throughout our body, some outside some
inside. These sensors "sense" everything that goes on around us and inside us.
These sensors constantly sends information to a part of our brain I call the "Central Command
Center". Here they are processed and evaluated. If a response is required from us, a message is
sent to our conscious mind in form of a feeling. This feeling also have instructions telling us what we
should do.
This made total sense to me and like I said changed everything!
I had plans to study psychology and those plans ended right then and there. That's how powerful
his message was.
I know this all sound a bit crazy, but I realized that depression could for many be controlled and
completely eliminated if they only knew how.
I have taken great interested in the function of the human mind since I was 12 years old. What
makes me able to think was such a mystery to me. Thoughts were like another world inside me that
nobody could enter or see. I could travel, make up stories, create images, daydream with my
thoughts....this I found incredible and miraculous.
I studied everything I could find about this subject. I read stack of books I found at the library. I
remember my parents being very concerned about this "obsession", as they called it, with this
interest in the human mind.
Over the past 25 years I must have read dozens of books related to the human mind. A common
tread I see is that professionals tend to complicate the issue of depression. In my opinion most
cases of depression is caused buy a to lack of knowledge and understanding.
Over the years what I learned from that stranger on the train has proven to be the solution that
works better than anything else I have read. The main reason in my opinion is that this works with
the body not against it. It is a natural way to handle difficult emotional situations that can produce
depressing feelings.
I'll teach you how I believe the human mind was meant to tackle challenges and avoid being
trapped in depression.
Back to my story....
I did not go to class that day. I went to the park and reflected over what I had learned. I remember I
was shaking with excitement. I felt I had discovered the key to living a balanced happy life
controlled by me, not by any outside events, situations or other influences. This to me was a huge
discovery and the most important one so far in my life. I never looked back, and my life has been
free of worries, depression and angst since then.
Many times I have shared this with others and I always get the same incredible appreciation and
satisfaction from them. I often don't realize how important this method can be to people since it all
has become and unconscious automatic behavior too me. It’s almost like I’m on a auto pilot when it
comes my emotionally state of mind. If I’m a bit off, it does not last very long. Before I know it I feel
better and I consciously I did not do anything. My body detects when I’m off and make the right
action to get me back in a balanced, happy productive state of mind. This is one of those “things”
one have to experience to fully understand. Most people using my method experience this after a
short time.
I think helping others get out from the dark clouds of depression is what I appreciate the most. I
remember how miserable I could be and how difficult it was to get through the day so I know what
kind of anguish people go through. But that can all end quickly when they know how.
Over the years I've been encouraged and asked to write this down and publish it. Since I'm not a
writer and I don't like writing it has taken many years to finally get it done....
Now I want to share this with everyone. I have priced it as low as I can since I'm not planning on
getting rich on this. I just want to cover the cost of advertising. I use Google pay per click and that is
expensive. Any profit ( if I ever get to that point) will go to my passion...rescue and take care of
abused and neglected Great Danes. To give these gentle giants a second chance in life and
experience their love, gratefulness and true happiness is something very special and rewarding.
If you want to see true happiness in action...just watch a dog! You can learn a lot from that.
I sincerely hope you get the same great benefits from reading my book and learning this technique
as I did way back then!
Take care and have a great day TODAY and everyday, for the rest of your life!
Thomas Sandberg
P.S. I apologize again to the ones that are offended by my broken and imperfect English. But this is
how I speak. One day my English will be almost perfect.
P.P.S If you any questions regarding my method you can email me from here.
Is to rescue Great Danes and give
them a great forever home .I find
this breed very fascinating. These
are true gentle giants and given the
right environment they become
absolutely awesome pets. There are
an alarming number of great Danes
in need of rescue. If you ever
wanted a great dog, this on one
breed to consider. Do not let the
size intimidate you. They need less
space than you think.
Sadly, Camelot (left) passed away
last summer (2008), 8 1/2 years old.
He was the most goofy, gentle and
fun Great Dane I ever had.
Here is my latest rescue Great
Dane, Camelot II. (2 years old).. He
was locked up in a chicken coop all
his life and abused. He came to me
extremely timid and frightened of
everything. One month later he has
developed into a sweet and kind
Great Dane that loves everyone.
Camelot II never saw a couch
before and he is making up for all
the lost time by spending every
moment on it between our walks.
This is his absolute favorite place.
Rex now 12 years old has been a
perfect dog. I rescued him at age 4.
He had spent most of his younger
years locked up inside a garage. He
did not know how to play. His feet
were so sensitive that he could only
walk on soft grass the first month I
got him. He never does anything
wrong, always calm and balanced.
He is very affectionate, gives the
best hugs and purrs like a cat when
I scratch his ears. He was the one
that made Camelot II recover so
quickly. Rex is now struggling with
joint issues and I’m prepared to let
him go if pain and discomfort
becomes a part of his life.
Animals welfare matters a lot to me
and I will for the rest of my life adopt
and rescue abused Great Danes.
Thomas and his best friends
Camelot and Rex.
My passion and love...
